SPG Surf Coaching is a company specializing in online surf coaching.

The founder, Théo Schers, who is also the coach of SPG Coaching, is a 20-year-old Swiss surfer who lives his passion for surfing.

He started surfing at the age of 7. When his parents moved to Senegal, he discovered surfing as soon as he arrived, and he fell in love instantly. Théo has now been immersed in the world of surfing over 14 years.

Nine years after arriving in Senegal, as he was finishing his studies, Théo began searching for his career path. An idea came to him: doing an internship at his surf school to explore the profession of a surf instructor. That was the turning point—he knew then that he wanted to turn his passion into his profession.

Back in Switzerland, he decided to go to Alaïa Bay, the new and first wave pool in continental Europe. He was offered a position as a surf instructor, lifeguard, and wave guide as soon as he obtained his ISA 1 certification. He then spent three years at home, in Switzerland, .

During his seasons at Alaïa Bay, he continued to train and travel to gain experience. He obtained his ISA 2 certification, allowing him to offer personalized coaching.

He returned to Senegal to complete his ISA 2 and later joined a surf club in France, where he discovered competition-level coaching, which fueled his passion even more.

After three busy seasons in Switzerland, a unique opportunity arrive for him: working at a renowned 5-star hotel in the Maldives.

It was an opportunity he couldn’t refuse, allowing him to experience the luxury hospitality world and refine his skills in a paradise where the client is king.

Théo returned from this experience even more mature and experienced. That’s why he now offers personalized coaching, tailored to your personality and skill level.
